Distressing My Fed 3

Post by cropdustdair »

So I've used Fuller's Earth on my Fed 3, but the look comes out looking to white-ish or light gray-ish. Any tips on how to get it that reddish Cairo dirt look? I've heard that some people have used acrylic paint? Is this true? Where and what to get? Thanks!

I think what might be used is Acrylic paint pigment. Many modeling paint brands like Vallejo, etc. sell acrylic pigments which are used to weather models to give them that in that dusty in the field look.
Just a thought, and good luck with your distressing project.
