Magnoli Clothiers S&W Holster Review

Post by Tinplatejeff »

You might have seen in the vendor announcements that the Magnoli holsters are back in stock. I decided to order one since the price was reasonable at US$45.00 plus shipping. It's decent considering the price, but the color is a bit off and it's two toned. Which doesn't seem to match the color pictured on their web site. I'm also disappointed in the screw holding the brass stud in place is very sharp and has scratched up the leather in transit. Also the leather around the brass stud is distressed. What do others think of it?

Hey, Jeff! Just by looking at the pics I find the holster a bit disappointing:

- the screw should be covered with a small leather patch
- the sewing looks hurried and uneven
- the square end of the strap is unesthetic

Overall it doesn't look professionally made. Just my 2 cents....

Cheers,
Bear

If you're unhappy, why not reach out to Magnoli directly?

He's incredibly supportive when it comes to trying to rectifying issues.

Sure, valid suggestion. I’m not trying to bash the product. Like I said for the price it’s a decent holster. Just wanted to put up a review for others to see. I’ll be sending an email and let people know how it goes.

Had a similar issue with another one (not from Magnoli). Sent it to David at Make It Jones and £20 later after dying and repair it's magnificent.
