I can't believe how BROWN they are! My Alden 405 CXLs are still that lovely shade of bronze like the day I got them in August 2014. You must wear yours constantly!

I do actually. I usually over do something where my back acts up. I put these on a lot when I do heavy lifting or things like that. since then I have had about 0 back issues so yeah, I wear them constantly for that. I do rotate them with my veg tanned 405s and other shoes, but I don't go out of my way to keep them looking new. I have replaced the heels once on them with the same Thomas s heels.

Here they are off my feet. I have oiled them a few times. While not needing as much attention as veg tanned, the CXL does need some tender loving care. Especially after all the adventures I put these guys through.
