hey ya'll !
been experiencing a little nag with my much beloved Wested Last crusade jacket.
the collar doesn't seem to stand as it should.
it tends to go flat on my shoulders.
my jacket is made of quite thick a nice distressed cowhide, and fits me to a t other than that.
so how do you think i could teach that collar some standing discipline ?

does it require water ? clothes pin ?

let me know if any of you had to deal with anything like that.

I've never done it with distressed hide before, but I have had great success training collars with water and hand-shaping in the past. My impulse with a predistressed hide would be to attempt to use as little water as possible, which might require a bit of trial and error over several sessions. I might even start with a dry collar and just wet hands, or wearing wet (but rung-out) cotton garden gloves.

i think i'll go first with the as little water as possible option
collar training requires patience i suppose ha ha
