It's heeereee! My new LC 10 feet from Giovanni Celeste

Yesterday I received the package from Gio, containing my very first leather bullwhip. A 10 feet, Last Crusade style, kangaroo hide whip.
I placed my order on the 5th of July, so the total wait time was about five months. That is really good, considering that Gio also had his summer vacation during this period. When starting the whip Gio was amazing and asked questions about all the details of the whip in order to get everything just the way I wanted it.
So, first impressions: this thing is amazing. I love the feel of it, the look of it. It is very tightly plaited and the taper is constant. The entire thing is hard as steel, no give anywhere when squeezing.
Tomek wanted to know the weight, but I haven't gotten around to weighing it yet. I will have to make an update for it.
Gio was also kind enough to send a replacement fall and a few crackers! Thanks Gio!
The fall is also tapered, starting wide and ending in a tip 2-3 mm wide.
I took a couple of quick pics:
And for anyone interested here's the full album with high resolution pics.
Cheers,
Bear
