A friend shared these cool photos with me of the hat used in the Donavan's Apartment scene(as well as a few more) he grabbed one evening while it and a few other props were on exhibit at the Vue Cinema in London. It was 2013 I believe.

Looks like the entire crown shrank over time, leaving the ribbon loose. I mean, it's a 30-year-old hat. Something's gotta give.
