Looks mighty cold!
BTW, there is another Gear fan over in Poland that goes by TheOtherJones. You may want to shoot him an email.

Nice Fedora. The scarf looks good too. I usually go with a white scarf, for that WWI flying Ace look, but the dark brown looks good also.

Now that's a winter I'd like to experience! How cold is it in that picture, and right now?

Cheers!

Thank you Hemingway Jones. Everything's fine though the jacket needs a bit of natural distressing. It'll take a few years and several adventures :)

Answering Indiana Grendel's question - it was about -14 C (don't try this at home - it's for pros only ;)

Take care!

Never too cold for the Cow either, though I've not got a pic of it I was wearing it around Winnipeg Manitoba when it was minus 41 celsius with the windchill. Yes, that is minus Fourty One.

Mind you, I COULD have been a bit warmer...:D

Farn

My friends, I believe Raider has now closed the door the subject of whether or not lambskin is good enough for cold weather. :D
Looks great!! Regards. Michaelson

I have always thought that the gear looks exceptionally good in snow and this just proves it! Looking good there! A bit more wear on that jacket and your gear will look great!

Great picture Raider. I love the contrast of you and the white background. As for lamb, I've been running around all winter in my black lamb in New Egland and all my friends think Im nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its has been freezing. Must be the Polish in my blood! LOL!

That's a great photo. Is that the "authentic lamb" color? Or is it the dark brown lamb? The reason I ask is that even though I've ordered samples from Peter, I still can't seem to make up my mind. :)

Thank you all very much! You just made me feel better ;)
Answer for MaxPlague - it is authentic Raiders lamb.

For everybody who liked the pic and these who have never seen (Neolithic - it's for ya!) or just love snow, one more:

Now you have to tell us about those pants.

You know, sometimes I feel like Mr. Peterman from Seinfeld, stopping random people and asking them about their clothes and hats. At least here I can get away with it.

Thanks for the info, Raider. You've just helped me make up my mind about which Wested color I'm going to order. :D

MaxPlague - I'm glad to hear that and wish you luck! :whip:

Dear Hemingway Jones, concerning my hunt for accuracy it ends on the jacket and Fedora. All the rest is a matter of good taste :)
So this incredibly good looking pants ;) are from Spanish company (quite well known in Europe) called ZARA (www.zara.com). What's quite unusual about these pants is they have kind of additional strong strap sewed in, so you can perfectly regulate the seam.

They (ZARA) have also very interesting, kind of atypical accessories f.e. belts, hand bag-rucksack which wonderfully accompany the "elegant indish style" (it's my own way of categorize the indish look ;)
All categories go something like this:
1. Adventurous distressed indish,
2. Crazy accurate indish,
3. Elegant city-indish  (ok guys - we are crazy ;).

Unfortunately the stuff showed on the ZARA's web site differs from this available in its different stores.

Take care Indiana guys!

Cool pics, Raider! Congrats on the new acquisition!
You know, back in 2000 when I ordered my Wested lambskin, Peter wrote to me it would be the first one in Poland. Now there are 2 (that I know of)! :D

And here's me wearing my Wested in winter, taken 2 years ago I think. If you're wearing something warm underneath, you'll be all right with lamb. Just watch your step, because those Aldens can be pretty treacherous in the snow.

Thanks TheOther Jones! Nice pic in action :)
As I wrote, I'm not collecting every detail of Indy gear (though, work gloves are interesting...) so don't worry about Aldens - I just don't like them!

Take care
