If anyone knows who the scumbags are who broke into my barn on 14th May please let me or the police know. Also if you are offered a cheap leather or fur. They are all identifiable.
He also included the security video of the robbery on his FB page.

Please contact Peter at the shop if you are approached with new (and probably tagged) Wested Leather co. jackets or furs at a REALLY cut rate price.

Please pass the word on to others in the hobby and other sites.

Regard! Michaelson

Ugh! Poor Peter. That makes me feel sick.

To some extent, I know how he feels... I bought my first Indy jacket in 1997 (a Disney Cooper) and it was stolen only days after I got it.

I had dreamed of owning an Indy jacket ever since I had first seen the Disney Cooper on display at the Indy Outpost at Disneyland when I was 12 years old. When I graduated high school and started working full time, I took my first paycheck and ordered my dream Indy jacket, only to have it stolen out of my car just a week later.

I drove all over town searching for my jacket at garage sales and pawn shops... It gave knew insight to the desperation to go to Marakesh that Indy demonstrates after having had the fertility idol stolen from him.

A perfect Indy Jacket has been the great McGuffin of my life. I've owned Coopers, Westeds, US Wings' and am currently waiting for a Cazador 38 from Steele & Jones. I hope this is the one that makes me feel like I've finally found it; but even so, I'm sure I'll keep looking, because we all know that we love the hunt every bit as much as we love the gear!

Here's to hoping for a quick recovery (and good insurance) for Peter & Co.
