Can anyone give there opinions or thoughts on the hero rola jacket from wested leather

hi, I managed too get a 'hero' last year in westeds clearance section in nubuck leather. It's a great jacket with that unique raiders fit-drooping shoulders,off the neck hanging collar and the wavey zipper with 'demon roll'. As wested states on their website this style/fit might not suit everyone but it works for me. As stated above lots of research is the key.

Just talking about Wested jackets, have a Hero in horsehide that is a good jacket. The Wested Hero Fit is not one of my favorites and I find myself wearing my Wested Raiders most often. I do break out the Hero every so often in Winter.

I did once have a Wested Raiders in their SL but passed it along. Just did not like that particular leather. I have a couple SL from other makers that I like.

i have a wested Hero ... i love it now .... but at the time i got it i didnt at all ...

on first purchase
it comes up large so it feels like its hanging off the shoulders which it is supposed to ,... its a size 44 and just a tad too large for me. Its not the shrunken lamb though i opted for the standard brown lambskin as i'm not a fan of the 'people dash' look on leather but i've grown to love it ... The hero does and is supposed to hang over and off the shoulders and it hung off me.... which its supposed to do ... just too much.
I also usually ask for 1.5 inches added to the arms .. in this case my second mistake .. due to the hang they were too long (by 1.5 inches funnily!)
It was returned for alterations .,. they reduced the front panel width and pulled 1.5 inches off the arms and now i really love it ... but out of my 4 its not my first choice jacket ...

if you like tighter fits i'd go a size down ..
Don't ask for longer sleeves unless you are going a size down i'd suggest
