Hi just want to ask you guys a question, after half year my western pre distressed jacket still has the artificial chemical smell, I am worried since I used sand paper to distressed jacket therefore the coating has been riped off, is this gonna harm the health? Probably it is little funny question, but really appreciate if I can get an answer!

It will go away.
Just a couple rain showers and some snow falls and you wont notice it anymore.

True....and don't worry, your eyebrows WILL eventually grow back in after all the exposure.....

Erm, no it won't. My pre-d still stinks after 5 years. Especially when it's warm.

Just need to jump in a river in Hawaii and you'll be all set. Instantly, you'll have other things to worry about than the smell.

I had the same issue with a Wings jacket, Sarge told me to hang it out in the sun light for a day, the UV will kill the chemical smell. I tried it, worked pretty well, most of the scent is gone.

Natural ozone will solve just about every problem in that respect. Totally agree.
I had one show up from a home a few years back that unbeknownst to me came from a smokers house. The guy I got it from was a cigar smoker. The jacket REEKED!
I tried everything, then used that tried and true hanging outside turned wrong side out several days. The smell completely disappeared. That's definitely something to try while we still have warmer weather on our side.
