Hi Guys,

When it comes to the shirt, sizing has always been a miss for me. I've owned a few from the various vendors, and the shirt has always been slightly too small and snug, or else just too large.

I'm looking to get a Wested now, but want to be sure about the pit-to-pit measurements for an XL: Do any of you have one of these that you could measure for me so that I could be sure about it?

Wested tells me via e-mail that they no longer provide this exact measurement for the shirt, so I thought I'd check here.

Mine has been washed a few times, but measures 24.5" give or take a little bit. I'm a 46 chest and it fits me well. The collar wrinkles a bit funky, but I really like the current Wested shirts (they have way better fabric and colour than they had in the past).

One other thing: Did your shirt shrink any with washing?

I have two other similar shirts right now that fit me well, and they each measure exactly 25" pit-to-pit, so I want to make sure.

Results may vary, but I would say I did not have any noticeable shrinkage, maybe 1/4 inch at most from the sleeves and chest.
