Aldens in UK or EU?

So my Red Wings have worn out and they need to be re-welted which is going to cost about as much as a new pair of boots. I thought I would see if anyone on here knew where to find a pair of Aldens (or even the Frye Walter) in the UK or even post-Brexit Europe.

Thanks!

Endclothing.co.uk (based in Newcastle) have Alden 403's in stock . The price - £529

I got my 405s from J. Crew who now have a UK operation. Alden do special editions for them and the ones I bought were a very good match. They were the most expensive shoes or boots I have ever bought, about £530, can't remember the exact price. They don't have any listed right now, they tend to be in autumn / winter range.

For my money though, Chippewa M1901s are the way to go if you don't mind being directional rather than the exact pair. I find the Alden's a bit wide for my feet. I got my Chippewa's from J. Crew as well and they were still pricy but cheaper ( about £270). They are much more comfortable and I wear them all the time when the weather is colder.

Good hunting ! ;)

Thanks guys for responding to me so quickly. It is a but infuriating how much we have to pay for Aldens over here- and even the Frye Walter is not even available here!! I am thinking of just sticking with Red Wing Roughnecks.

Best,
wannabe

See if you can get a pair of Diplomats, really nice boot and more grippy than Aldens. A bit lighter too. I got someone to bring me over a pair when they visited. Saved on postage and customs! :)
