Beautiful hat.

Maybe a Stetson?

No. Price for the fedora is USD 180.00 not bashed which really gives it away as to what the brand is.

Using your description, sounds like an Akubra Federation.

I thought of this too, M, but the crown looks too short for an Akubra. At least it does to me. W>

It is the open crown Miller Indy fedora. The bash on it was just a 5-minute job. I used to have a few of the Miller hats back in the day but ended up passing them on for higher end ones. Just bought this one for the heck of it. Compared to the older ones, this one has a much stiffer feel to it.

Holy smokes! I used to have one of these, but I always thought the crown was taller. Great hats for the overall, general 'LC' look, but boy they sure couldn't handle weather (at least the one I had couldn't). Thanks for clearing this up :TOH: . I was really stumped here, as I really don't think too much about Miller's offerings these days. W>

Wow! Haven't thought of Miller for years, and I've even owned a couple in decades past!

Nice job! :M:

Miller was my guess, but I only saw this now. I had one years ago. Just don't wear it in the rain. The dye bleeds when wet... or at least mine did. They look great, though.

Wow! My first "real" Indy hat was from Miller. After my official licensed Lucasfilm hat went away in the mid 90s, I purchased a Miller hat.....I remember it was the wrong size and driving into Houston to swap it out for another. I'm not even sure where the heck it is now.... thinking about it now, I think I gave it to my high school sweetheart.

That's great to see another of theirs. They've changed their website up a bit and have some more movie hats to offer.

I have and have had several of these hats.....LOVE the block on them (open crown), felt and ribbon.......BUT several other members told horror stories of how easily they tapered so I sold a bunch and the two I have left get used only for special occasions as they do seem a little upscale in the soft velvety felt. But the blocks are really great for an Indy hat.
