2008 Jacket Version

Post by temple_runner »

Hey guys, I recently stumbled across a 2008 version of the jacket at Goodwill. Obviously, it is a low-quality jacket, but its more screen-accurate than the one I have.

It looks just like the one on this listing, but it's only $20. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Indiana-Jones-L ... SwX~dWllYW

Any idea on where these were originally sold and if its worth the $20?

Looks like a lottery jacket some States gave out as prizes. Worth the 20-bucks.

But only $20... :) It's made from some kind of weird reconstituted leather fibres, for some reason that can be sold as 'leather' but it's not 'leather as we know it'.

That said it's actually a pretty good pattern.

If the jacket at Goodwill is indeed the same jacket as shown in the eBay listing, it would be worth throwing down a 20 dollar bill for IMO.. :) If anything, one could experiment with distressing techniques (I may not go as far as a washer / dryer treatment though) without much worry for certain. ;)
