Possible Liner Issue With USW Featherweight Lambskin Legend

Last week, I walked a charity Superhero 5k in my Indy gear... I had the USW Featherweight Lambskin Legend on...
With that much walking in the humidity, I had a pretty sweaty back. Didn't think anything of it when I got home and washed my shirt as normal. Last night, I found brown stains all over the back of my shirt as I was hanging it in the closet... so just be careful if you have this coat as this may be an issue.

The only other explanation is the leather strap from my Todds satchel... but the stains are all over the back and not confined to were the strap would have been.

My vote is for the bag strap. I've had non-sealed straps do that to shirts before. :-k

My son-in-law has the same USW lambskin jacket, and has worn it the same way in the high humidity heat of Tennessee, as well as been caught in numerous rainstorms in the jacket. It has never had any dye release from the lining.

Yep. Probably the strap, and all the sweating and movement spread it around. Todd's straps can do that. I recommend sanding the unfinished side with fine grit paper a bit. It helps reduce that problem, which also occurs in the rain.

My vote is for the bag strap as well. I've only heard of one or two cases where the dye from a jacket bled and those were members that were in extended frog stranglers rains.
