Reblock

Hey guys, so after having my Garrison Raiders in Rabbit Felt for over year, it's begun to taper and not look so great on me (I tweaked it, but I don't think I tweaked it quite right). I have really just left it to wear with age and naturally go about it's business, but I have decided that this year is the year I need to get it in for a re-block. I'm on a tight budget, and I heard that there is a place in Saint Louis that does fedoras and re-blocks, except I forgot the name. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent priced re-block from a hat shop in the U.S.? I'm not doing it immediately, but would love some places to consider. My plan is that I would send the hat to them with a series of pictures of the raiders hat (I'm not asking for a turn, just that once it's stovepiped shape again, they can style it right).

Have you contacted Garrison about a re-block?

Have you checked with David himself? Most hat makers will reblock their own hats at a discount. Otherwise John Penman might do it. I'm sure there are others but to get the right block shape those are the ones that come immediately to mind.

Oh! I was actually wanting to ask if David did reblocks. Are they decent priced?

David does provide reblocks. He reblocked two hats for me that were not his. He will certainly reblock one of his own. Check with him for timeline and pricing.
