Club Obi Wan

I just came across this brand new company that makes an awesome assortment of gear bags and pouches. The company is called Maxpedition and they are relatively new but from all the accounts I've read they make top notch stuff. I'm always on the look out for the perfect "Tactical Man Bag" and this company has piqued my interest big time.

I'm debating between the Thermite or Fat Boy Versipacks in OD Green. Either one looks to be cool (and different) alternatives to the MKVII or MKVI bags. Their backpacks and belt pouches and wallets are cool too so it is a hard decision.

These are cool. I like the Thermite myself. I noticed they have a distributor here in town. I can check this gear out in person.

What is cool about that back pack shot is it shows how two separately purchased items (the sheath and pouch) can be attached to the pack. I love that kind of stuff.

I'm going nuts looking at all their packs! I could use the Fat Boy for general use and the Proteous would be a perfect fit behind the seat of my truck! The M2 belt pouch would be an awesome EDC. (Yes, I'm a gear geek!)

Nice looking packs, put my British army utility pouches to shame!

They look real useful as well, not at all 'gimmicky' like you can find, being able to add other features or take them off is essential and often overlooked in adventure gear.
I can relate to what you're saying Edge, I use a same sort of system in my Land Rover for fitting behind the seat!

I have had one of their Fatboy shoulder bags for about a year or so now...It is a great bag and very durable...It was not quite as big as I assumed it would be judging by the pics on their site...For the price of this bag it is VERY tough to beat...

I would recommend buying from one of their distributors on their site...If anyone is interested, I can forward you the info of the guy I have personally dealt with...Just PM me...

If anyone is considering buying any of their stuff, go for and I can assure you, you will not be sorry!

That's the one I would be interested in purchasing, but it might be a little redundant if I were to use it!

That gear looks great. I'm surprised I've never heard of them before. I usually scour the military magazines when they come in the mail.
