Just ordered a pair. Pics to come.
Has anyone ordered a pair recently? I thought I read somewhere that the back pockets look a bit more SA now.

Pants came. Super fast shipping.
So they are size 30 yet feel tight on me. I normally must wear a belt with a size 30 waist to keep them from sagging.
These the belt will be purely cosmetic if I wear it.
Since they feel and look like a good fit elsewhere I am hesitant to return for a size 32 which would definitely be on the looser side.
Such troubles in the world of virtual shopping.
First pair of size 30 waist to fit so snug.
They fell good. Not as heavy as I would have thought.
So. Do you know if they are pre shrunk?

Did you measure your waist size?
I was quite surprised as they are your actual size rather than your trouser size.
Im a 36 in Levi Jeans and 38 in trousers but Wested advised me to measure myself and when checked I was a 40"! (too fat!)
So I ordered a 40" and they fit perfectly. Wested explained that a lot of the manufacturers give you a lot of wiggle room (especially levi)

Yeah. i measure 31". So right in between. They go to 32" next.
Just means I don't need a belt to snug up pants but still will wear it for aestetics.

I have never ordered a pair as I have to have full cut in trousers due to my thighs being pretty large and usually wear a loose cut in jeans (not baggy). I figured all the Indy pants available are cut for a normal fit.........

A little bottled water on center creases and a bit of flattening with my fingers took them right out. Now dry they look better to my eye.
I see Todds does not currently offer these. What differs between his and wested?
I see no angled stitch line near rear pockets but also notice the pocket flaps are more SA now with better angles.
Kt, I have a pair of bananna republic chinos I picked up in 1995. They still fit. I did have to move button slightly to the left though.

I have a couple of westeds pants and they are cut quite generous through the thigh and lower leg for that relaxed baggy indy fit - I think someones thighs would need to be very large ie. bodybuilder size (anyone remember Tom Platz ?!) for them not to fit . Hope this helps.

I have the best wife ever.
She put in a military hem tonight for me with a 4" cuff

I also included a pic of the back button flap to show current angle. Thought I remember seeing earlier pants with less of an angle. Just swipe to see the pic.

Thanks. They do fit better than any pair of pants I ever had. So much so that at first I thought I had the wrong fit.

Looks like Wested has tweaked the pattern. I got a pair second-hand several years ago so I don't know how old the trousers were. They fit fine in the waist and were the proper bagginess to the knees, but they were super tapered down to the ankle.
Regards,
Indiana Jeff
