Sizing comparisons
Random question, folks. Have a OTR G&B Expedition that I picked up here a few years ago. Absolutely love it- it's a tank. But, the bug is biting me again, and looking for a second jacket. Have my eye on a USW cow on the Bay. Problem is sizing. The USW is a XXL, and the G&B is a 48R. The G&B fits absolutely perfectly. Seems like a USW XXL is more a 50 - 52 standard sizing, and will likely be too big for me. But welcome any thoughts/ideas. I've asked the seller what style the jacket is, which I know makes a difference in any USW sizing question. Waiting to hear back, but in the meantime, thoughts? Tried to find another thread on this, but didn't find anything. Of course, point me there if it's easiest.

Yeah, before anyone can offer any good opinions, you need to find out if it's a Signature Series pattern or a Legend Series pattern.
Two completely different animals and sizing.

Agreed, you need to know which series.
In the event that it is a Signature Series, I can tell you that a xxl runs in the 50/52 range for sure. I owned a bunch. You will probably find it too big, especially given that G&Bs are cut a bit trimmer as it is.

If it's the distressed XXL cowhide that shows up in my ebay search, it's definitely a signature series. I can almost guarantee that it's going to be too big for you. For a size 48, a sig series XL is the way to go. I'm a 45 chest and my Large sig series goat is slightly too big (though comfy for me).Justin wrote:Random question, folks.
