Has anyone ever ordered a pair of these from the Eastman Leather Clothing site?

They look pretty legit, but the cost is quite high.

I bought vintage wool U.S. WW II army Officers' pinks pants at my local Army Surplus store for less than ten bucks! They have the rear pocket flaps. They are sort of a greyish brown and do have a pinkish look to them in certain lighting. They are a dark brown when wet. They look nearly identical to the original pants comparison photos in the link you provided.

Eastman's product are all highly priced.... I've never bought from them though they look to be great. You have to remember though.... especially for that price. Indy's pants ARE NOT Officer Pinks. They are BASED ON Officer Pinks.
Indy's pants have pleats, historically, WWII Officer Pinks are flat front with no pleats.

So if you're paying that price go Magnoli and get some accurate Indy pants with pleats. Todds were a great choice but those are few and far between now. Wested has some and WPG has some.

Again, if you want accurate indy pants for 200 bucks, those are not what you want. If you want accurate WWII Officer Pinks for that price.... go for Magnoli as well.

Now, if you just want WWII Officer pinks, non Indy.... WPG might still offer some that aren't that expensive. Not sure on the quality. Heck, there might be MANY more sites to offer fairly decent officer pinks for much less that 200..... jmo :TOH:

I think I posted this before, but if not, here goes: The reason for lack of pleats was the 'War Effort, itself...' materials for clothing was cut back in order to save money for the War Effort. Even civilian clothing was compromised for the needs of ending the war as quickly and successfully, as possible. W>
