Need gunsmith for Stembridge conversion

I'm getting a commercial HE 2 next week that is a perfect candidate for a Stembridge conversion. (The gun has been messed with previously so no value lost).

I want to do it up right with the sweated on band on a turned down barrel. I called a couple good local gunsmiths and they passed.

Anyone have recommendations for a gunsmith who has done a Stembridge conversion? It would be nice to have someone familiar with this concept do the work.

My good friend and FANTASTIC master smith no longer does smithing as he has been promoted in his full time job and no longer has the time. However the man who taught him does. If you don't mind shipping I would call Scott's Gunsmithing in Glen Burnie, MD. He does excellent work an specializes in old revolvers.

Thanks for the lead. I assume I want to ask for Scott?

NVM, just talked to them and they won't accept shipment from an out-of-state customer.

Well that is STUPID. Sorry about that. They had done it in the past I wonder why they changed their policy.
