After all these years I am strongly considering putting together a LC Indy. Been out of the loop for a while, what's the go to jacket these days?

I don't know if I've read this around somewhere, but I believe Magnoli's LC jackets are modeled after the Smithsonian jacket. I've never seen a Magnoli LC jacket I haven't like, especially since he uses a lambskin that distresses just like the LC jacket, so my vote is Magnoli. Search for Holt's thread on his Magnoli LC, spectacular jacket!

Magnoli makes a fantastic LC jacket but I would get it in a thicker skin then lambskin. Ask for a smooth non grainy cowhide ( like the film jacket)

Holt your jacket is awesome. I have just distressed my Magnoli and it looks more LC than Raiders...

With the right distressing, I think Wested would be the way to go if you can get the pattern right. Keyword being IF. Here's my Wested...

Distressed well, an OTR Wested LC can be pretty acceptable. (Ignore the rest of the gear!)

Must be something in the air.

I'm finding I've got the bug again, and I'm itching to scratch out a decent LC gettup (at last!)

That is standard authentic brown lamb.

KT your jacket and LC stuff don't get enough credit. That jacket is amazing. You should post some full gear shots!

I'm very stumpy so full gear shot look odd.

Here are a couple of other jackets to chuck in the mix.
