Philips Dynamo Flashlight (Knijpkat)

Post by clark.j.kent »

Anyone have or seen one of these flashlights before? Just picked one up on eBay for cheap, and thought it would go great in my Mkvii.

They were manufactured in 1943, so maybe Indy could have picked one up between LC & KOTCS. Would come in handy seeing as it doesn't need batteries:

I have a modern dynamo flashlight in my go-bag, but this vintage one is great! Perfect for the satchel; great choice!

Thanks :TOH:

And.... I just won another one. I had put in a ridiculously low bid and it seems no one else wanted it. Always good to have a spare...

Both lights arrived and they definitely look the part in a Mkvii:

I replaced the original bulb with an LED bulb:

Nice collection, man! You might wanna consider adding a little black pin striping on the other flashlight to make it just that much more screen accurate

Also, love that stag pocket knife :D

Excellent collection! Perhaps you need a period compass...
