I just ordered my Wested Jacket.
Here are the Specs
Size-42Reg
Temple Jacket
Cotton Body Satin Sleeves
Dark Brown Standard Cowhide
Brass D rings
Brass Zipper

I Hope i made the right choice I am completley new to this so i need a little help. Do i need to pecards the jacket? How often do i Pecard it? What are the to do's and not to do's with my jacket? I guess i am looking for a little intro into the jacket section of gear.

You made a great choice. The problem with ordering a Wested is that in the 4 weeks that it takes to get it, you are bound to find something on COW that you wished you had done differently. Keep notes because you will be ordering a second one soon! The jacket rocks and you will want one in several skins

Pecards is usually not necessary until you have owned the jacket a while or have predistressed it.

Do's and Dont's? Do wear it often and proudly. Don't go insane as you wait for the jacket. It will be worth it. Congratulations!

The cowhide is a great jacket. Tough and good looking, nice choice.

I use standard pecards on mine, just a very little after a heavy soaking etc. I don't know if this is the recommended choice but it works fine for me.

I just got a email from peter.
my jacket will be sent out in 21 days.
Actually i cant buy a jacket in diffrent hides,
i dont have the money, and i uasualy wear something
till it is worn out. I looked around everywhere so i knew
exactly what i wanted and would not regret it.
Im sure ill love my jacket
