I just got a made to measure dark brown chrome goat jacket from FS. It is awesome but very stiff and a little shiny. I have read the regular-guy website, but does anyone out there have any insight as to how I might age a chrome goat Expo and loosen it up a bit?
Also, has anyone out there had any luck getting distressing highlights on their goat Expo? Or does it stay pretty much new looking throughout the jacket's life span? Thanks.

First and foremost, wear it, wear it, and did I mention wear it???
That alone will loosen it up a bit.
On advice from this forum, when I first got my jacket, I routinely took it off, rolled it up, and tossed it in a corner.
After a year, it s now soft as butter and drapes very nicely. It still looks nearly new because I haven't gone out of my way to distress it.
I also hear that putting it in a dryer on AIR cycle for an hour or so does the trick.
