Re: MOTB Cardigan
Those key guards (the wire-looking bits over the larger round "keys") make it look like a Conn or a King. If you could read the engraving on the bell's front you'd know in an instant.
I'm hoping it's a King, because even though Indy played soprano sax, I still have my 1950s King Zephyr Tenor sax that once belonged to my uncle which later served me faithfully through my middle and high school years.
It could be just another notch in the Indy-verse "Close-Enough" List.
EDIT: After doing a little research, I'm leaning toward a King. The single key on the bell's left side, along with the placement of the music stand holder above it, make me thing it's a King curved soprano. See this link.

Yes, curved soprano. It is too small to be anything else...

Of course, being LF, it's probably been tweaked in the most slightest, minute way, thus making it practically impossible to find one exactly like the one seen on screen.

Also the photo I posted was from the MotB episode when older Indy was in the cabin at the beginning and end. The other photos show another sax he owned when he was younger. He didn't own the one in the cabin but did use it to save the day and get the sacred pipe back.

That was one thing I thought was just a little TOO coincidental - to find a soprano sax in a happened upon cabin that "just happened" to be what he played when he was younger. Really... what are the odds of that really happening?!lantzn wrote: He didn't own the one in the cabin but did use it to save the day and get the sacred pipe back.

Alto man myself...
As far as the brand goes I'm going to say King (For young Indy that is)...

Thought this exact same thing the first time I really sat down and watched that particular episode...IndyRiv wrote:That was one thing I thought was just a little TOO coincidental - to find a soprano sax in a happened upon cabin that "just happened" to be what he played when he was younger.
