Wested is still cheaper to buy than a Wings jacket. Even after you factor
in the PBB Global bill.

Plus, you get a real Indy jacket, not a wanna be. Wested will be sized to
your specs and exact measurements.

A Wings jacket is an off the shelf, a couple of sizes fits all jacket. It does
not have the accuracy of a Wested, and god forbid if you ever have a
problem with one! You will have a very hard time getting any answers
from anyone over there. Sleeves too long? To bad. Body too big?
To bad. Problems with the leather after your purchase? To bad, you
took off the tag, so no refund for you. How do I know this? I went thru
it personally, thats how.

Now with a Wested, if there is problem, Peter will take care of you right
away, with a very pleasant staff, no questions asked!

You figure out which is best...

I'm looking at getting a Wested myself and I can tell you already - do your research! Read as many of the forums as you can on sizing, leather types and care, etc. I'd also suggest emailing Wested for leather samples - you should get them within a week or so, and it will also help you in making or confirming your choice of leather. I can tell you right now - if I had made my decision before getting all the info possible, I'd probably end up ordering a jacket I'd be less than happy with. That just my .02, from one jacket newbie to another...

Wested - GREAT jacket, GREAT price - same guy as fitted Ford, same guy as supplies Spielberg and Lucas with their jackets, same guy as makes the outfits for Star Wars, Alexander and loads of other top flicks. Same guy as will be making the gear for Indy 4 no doubt.

why would anyone not get a wested? i mean, its authentic and cheaper!!! not to mention the fact that its a custom made jacket. factor all that in and you get one heck of a leather jacket for the price.

it makes no sense to me for someone to buy a "wanna be" wested for more money and off the shelf sizing.

my analogy...would you rather want $100 or $1,000?

then again, there is always a market for impatient people
