That's right. It doesn't exist.

But...

What about asking Peter if he'll make a bag strap?

After all, leather is his racket!

I've oft thought the same, Flash.

Whip holders too.

And gun-belts....

Oh, and holsters....

Hey, why not? He's doing the shirt and pants now, so Wested could turn into a one-stop Indy shop. Might not suit everyone, but it would suit me just fine.

Wait a minute - not one-stop.....aldens, hats.......d'oh!

But you get my point.

Right now,I am making the whip holders, as you can ask Brett aka Indycraze. I may consider making the belts also.
I have been hunting for a bag and will put on my own strap for sure as I have the leather for it already. All I'd like to determine now is the best buckle. It seems the A Plus is good, but someone pictured a 3/4" x 1" and believe it should be 1" square. The buckle someone pictured would be 3/4" wide for the belt and I thought the belt was 1" wide.
I've noticed Noel Coward's belts have the lines on them and other people's belts do not. I am not sure if that is all that critical. I probably wouldn't put the edging/lines on mine either as that is too much added work. It's a possibility though if someone wanted theirs that way.
Wait til I get my bag, then buckle and I will determine If I will make the belts.
So, I make the Indy bullwhips as most people know and also the holder which is pictured below.

I think we may be asking too much of Peter. What will be next? Sewing our names into our underwear? Making leather jackets with plaid design?! I think our other bagstrap sources are doing just fine.

Regards, Daryl.

I agree KB. I don't think Peter is looking to corner the Indy market. We have plenty of great suppliers for the other leather goods. I have a Keppler bag strap on the way, myself. Can't wait to get it.

Yea, we should be happy that he's even making the pants and shirt! Lee does a great job on the leather goods, so I think we have a good source of leather gear from him.

Wested would still be good for the UK market. Less postage costs and quicker. The US has several sources already, the UK doesn't have any home-grown suppliers anymore short of your local leather shop.

It's not hard for any leather-worker to produce these items - Wested could probably produce some of them from the offcuts from their jackets.

However, I have used my local leather shop in the past and will continue to do so - quality, custom items for an excellent price always.

Guys, can I ask a small favor? OK? Thanks.

The shirt and pants have never been readily available to all of us for a reasonable price and in close to 100% accuracy. So let's allow Peter time to fill the one void in our hobby before we hassle him to make additional items that we can currently purchase from numerous other vendors. Thank you for your cooperation.
