Basicly, the fabric on the top of the brim wasn't glued down before. It actually had tension on it which elevated it above the surface. That was force of habit, because the old thick brim, made from less dense foam, looked too bumpy with the fabric glued to it. -So now it's glued down and doesn't wrinkle when wet or cold. ...
... crown still wrinkes a little. Totally soaked with a hose, then I hosed it again and went for a bike ride- you can resoak it all day long on a hot day to keep your head cool. I also glued the top crease down, which makes the dent deeper and I added more SA detail to the top dent. So, I removed some old pics and added new ones to the commercial site.-

Cool. Is there a link you have to the other thread which details what this is?

Here's the link.
http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=61583" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; At the end of the thread I was experimenting with ways to make the seam on top less obvious. I found a quick way to do it, and I've replaced the photos that showed the old seam with ones that show the new seam. I can still make it look better, but I need to wait till I make the next hat. Since that last thread, I actually completely removed the brim to glue the material down, then reassembled the hat.
