Received today, exactly what I wanted. Beautiful.

USW 30th Anniversary Featherweight Antique Lambskin Legend Jacket with Escape Map. I was told by Sgt. Hack, it was # 1 out the door.

Love it. I will wear it on my upcoming travels in NW Europe.

What material is the escape map lining made of? Is it the same slippery lining as their other jackets, or is it a different material? Pics would be nice if you could...

This is my first jacket from USW so cannot comment on its being the same as other slippery material USW has sold. I can write however that the material is like silk, comfortable, and beautiful. Possibly rayon.

Apologies for the size. I am unfamiliar with photobucket and indygear.com/cow posting technology.

I changed it back to a link until you can reduce the size.

Would someone give him a hand?

Thank you. :TOH:

Beautiful jacket! My HH USW jacket is in the process of having the eggshell map liner installed, so this gives me a good idea of what to expect!

Regards! Michaelson

Thank you for changing the big image into a link to the image on photobucket.

If you don't have the band width, don't go there; if you do have the bandwidth, enjoy the beauty of the jacket and the garment bag. I am delighted with my purchase and USW communication and service.

Hear hear....but if you're currently on a tablet like I am at the moment, DON'T try to load it. It gets so blurry you CAN'T see the details....and they ARE absolutely fantastic!!

Congratulations! :TOH:

These are images of the jacket and the garment bag created with my iPad and uploaded via my home wifi system.

Wow, that looks nice. I didn't realize the map would be so big. I thought it would be a square section on the back, not the entire liner.

Thrall,

Loving your travel pics, but let's keep them over in the Scrapbook section rather than here in the Jacket section. :TOH: Feel free to start a new thread showing off your USW 'in the wild'.

Indiana Jeff

I hope you're also sending these photos to USW and Sgt. Hack. He'd LOVE to see one of his jackets 'on the road'. ;)

Congratulations bud, beautiful jacket. Are these jacket made locally or imported? Does the wings A2 run bigger or smaller than the Gibson and Barnes A2? For example, is a 42R in G&B about a medium in the USWINGS size.

They're made by Schott in New Jersey for USW, and yes, I believe a medium would be around a 42. I've found a large to be around a 44 for me.

I am sending Sgt Hack copies of my email with lots of jacket photos. Sarge wrote me an email and confirmed that my IJ Escape Map jacked is indeed the first and made by Roz Schott. Great history, great jacket, great price. A "real keeper."

Just arrived Oslo on a large ferry from Copenhagen. Below is a photo of me taken by my wife last evening in our room aboard the ship. I am wearing "The Jacket".

Lunch at small 14th century inn near Fredericksburg Slot (Castle) in Denmark - few hours before boarding the ship to Oslo Sweden. I was displaying my escape map liner to several new friends, and my wife captured the liner and lunch.
