Indy boots on a thrift store budget

For $9.98, can't go wrong. Especially since I didn't feel like spending $450 on Alden's and roughing them up.
I'm thinking of painting the black seams and getting some brown shoelaces, and tossing them in some fuller's earth, but other than that, pretty happy with these!

Hey, long before I knew about Aldens, that style was the Indy boot as far as I could tell!

I remember watching an interview with HF and Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight around the time of CS, and he described his attire as 'sweaty work clothes.' It's really that simple. Work clothes with period accents, so if a man chooses, he really does not have to spend lots of money on his own gear, as some have proven in the forum. I'd much rather see someone making it look authentic for them, than to have everything SA, and it not look 'real'.
