My standard Rabbit felt is 6 ounce. these are about 4 ounces.

I guess you could call this hat the final proto type. I wanted to get Darens opinion but he couldn't contain himself and posted this early.

On a good note, the company that does the AB liner tops are done and has arrived at the company that will sew the skirts to the tops. Soon, very soon.

You need to have your own Comic Con booth dedicated to Indiana Jones hats. People can special order your hats and you could have shelves of hats, and have felt samples for them to test. Just saying...

Good/Bad Idea

! Good from the standpoint of getting the product 'out there' and closer to the public which I am quite certain would generate many, many orders! Bad from the standpoint of all of us 'greedy-little' fans waiting on our orders -- don't spread John out like jam

...keep him on the bench and making hats $\:D/$ ! Of coarse...he does deserve a break once in a while, so John I pray

that you will at least take Christmas off

Yeah. Not a great idea. We could easily go from a few months wait to 3-4 years, watch prices could double or triple to try to hold demand down, and see John's health could go in the toilet from all the stress of trying to keep up with the orders and listening to all the complaints. Not that anything like THAT has ever happened before, of course.

My compliments John on what looks to be a very nice hat. I like others are just itching to send you papay transfer.

Can I ask a favor though. Could you send out a Hi from Penman Hats through your "sign up for my emails" link.
Just like to know it's working. I'm ready to pull the trigger on one of these as soon as I see the email that there ready. Any closer to a dollar amount.
