Shrinking an L.L. Bean Shirt?

Okay, I got a L.L. Bean Khaki long sleeved safari shirt. Not sure if this can be shrunk, ran it through the washer on a hot/hot cycle and not sure if I did anything wrong. It seemed like it was maybe a bit smaller after but not sure if it was my imagination.

LL Bean shirts are notoriously difficult to do anything to, just the Cabelas. But not impossible...

Because it's a cotton shirt, you run it thru enough hot washes, it will shrink, to a certain point.
Depending on how much you want to shrink it, you can try soaking it in a pot of boiling/simmering
hot water, for maybe 20 or so minutes.
With that said... BE CAREFUL! Do so at your own risk! ;)

Good luck!

The problem I've run into in the past with trying to purposely shrink a shirt is it won't shrink uniformly. The body might get tight, but the sleeves stay too long or vice versa. :?
