Shrinking an L.L. Bean Shirt?

Okay, I got a L.L. Bean Khaki long sleeved safari shirt. Not sure if this can be shrunk, ran it through the washer on a hot/hot cycle and not sure if I did anything wrong. It seemed like it was maybe a bit smaller after but not sure if it was my imagination.

LL Bean shirts are notoriously difficult to do anything to, just the Cabelas. But not impossible...
Because it's a cotton shirt, you run it thru enough hot washes, it will shrink, to a certain point.
Depending on
how much you want to shrink it, you can try soaking it in a pot of boiling/simmering
hot water, for maybe 20 or so minutes.
With that said... BE CAREFUL! Do so at your own risk!
Good luck!

The problem I've run into in the past with trying to purposely shrink a shirt is it won't shrink uniformly. The body might get tight, but the sleeves stay too long or vice versa.

Not sure that would be the shirts fault!
