Todd's Shirt Care Question

For those of you who have the Todd's shirt, I have a care question for you. How do you launder this thing? There are no care instructions in the shirt and I am afraid to dry it or steam it for fear it may shrink. I washed it to soften it up a bit and get the "new" wrinkles out of it then line dried it. It looks pretty awful, very wrinkly! I have a steamer but would be afraid that would make it shrink, same for the dryer. I no longer own an iron plus I'm not sure this shirt would like right ironed (you know what I mean) but it looks like a crumpled up piece of paper right now.

Thanks,
E

Well, I've owned two iterations of Todd's shirts (but not the newest one). Since I only used them for Indy Gear, I did not iron them. I washed them in cold water, then hung them to dry. While they were still very wet, I would look over them for any wrinkles or creases I didn't like, or were too severe. I smoothed them out by hand, sometimes gave it a little tug here and there. Then left it alone. They looked a mess on the hanger, but when worn as part of the costume, they look great.

I suppose the real question is, what do you want to wear the shirt for? Indy gear or rough and tumble stuff, I wouldn't worry about getting out the creases. If you want something a bit spiffier, I'd say invest in an iron or a different shirt.

My half-penny, anyway.
