Whip Cracking Pictures

Post by jerryrwm »

Just stumbled across this page today, and thought some of the pics might interest a few.

http://whipenthusiasts.50megs.com/

These are from the Whip Enthusiasts Weekend IV held in Dallas this past October.

In it you'll see pictures of some of the competitions, the competitors, and even a few faces you might recognize. Look for Sebastian, Robert and Debi Duke, Drew Schrag, and even a few shots of yours truely.

If you get a chance to make it to Dallas in March by all means come on. You won't regret it.

Oh, the pictures are being taken down from this site on 31 Dec so look quick!

Happy Holidays, and keep 'em crackin'

One more quick post before the kiddies get up----cool whip stand! Is that the whip tree I read about over at Yahoo W.E. group? Question--why do some of the whips (hanging on the stand) have white tape on them?

Yes those are the infamous target/whip stands made by Josh DeWitt.

Those whips were there with the whipmakers card on them.

I had him extend a bit of the wood a few inches higher than he usually does so I can hang my hat on it. If that's something you're interested in, just tell him you need extra wood to hang your Indy hat like on Holly's stand.

Josh Dewitt has also just recently designed a collapsable target stand that you can easily travel with. Pretty cool if you ask me...
