Hey there-
Ive been all over the internet, scoured all the threads, and even checked out the other forums. I simply cannot find a ton of pics that show the USW Crystal Skull Jacket (the limited release batch). Does anyone have a site? Im trying to get a sense of color and whatnot, and would love to check some out.
Thanks!

Just find links to Tony Nowak jackets from 2008-2009. It's exactly the same leather, and those photos will show you the color and grain. There's no difference what so ever between what they got and what TN used.
Here's a good discussion along with an actual CS wardrobe shot of the jackets waiting for use as well as the original jacket announcement. You can see all the variations of color:

Excellent, thanks! Color's what I'm most concerned with. I turned up some ghastly weird orangish things on some site or another, and I figured they were horribly off. The few pics I've seen look great, but you know it's always about seeing as many as possible. I didn't know they were pretty much the same as the TN from that era. Should be an easy search now.
Thanks again,
Justin

No 'pretty much the same' to it.
They are EXACTLY the same, as they were made from the remaining leather that Tony didn't purchase from the tannery for his CS film jacket run.

Since I have a shot on-hand, here's US Wings. Pretty accurate coloring in this one.

My interest is peaked. I went to U.S. Wings website and could not find anything on this limited release Crystal Skull jacket. Do I need to contact them directly to order one? Does anyone know how much a jacket will cost?

Chewie Jones- thanks for the pic. Thats exactly what I had hoped for, color and style wise. Im glad its not lighter colored- love the look.
As for where to buy, my understanding is that this was a limited release by US Wings back when KoTCS came out. They bought the remaining leather from whatever was left after production of the jackets actually used in the movie and turned that in to approximately 90-100 jackets for sale. They were snapped up in a heartbeat. Then, there was run of US Wings jackets that were made by them using leather from the same tannery as the tannery that produced the leather used for the jackets in KoTCS. So, the first batch was "I have the same leather that was actually in the movie (albeit, made by US Wings and not Tony Nowak, who made the actual jackets used in the movie)" and the second batch was "I have very similar leather, from a different batch of hides, than that which was in the movie."
Or, since I like analogies, it would be the difference between buying a can of Crystal Pepsi from the very first case of Crystal Pepsi made. Versus buying a can of Crystal Pepsi from the second case of Crystal Pepsi made. Either way, like with these jackets, you're having a good time. Man, remember Crystal Pepsi? That stuff was truly awful. i mean, the marketing people must have just been asleep on that one. Terrible terrible stuff.

I have the US Wings Crystal Skull special edition if you need any shots, size XXL. It's a bit big for me now though, so I'll be getting rid of it soon. Let me know sooner rather than later if you want pictures.
