I have been reading for month about how lamb is thin not durable ect... Recently a friend let me have his authentic lambskin coat for a week. Since the coat was not mine I decide to see what this coat could take . I was surprise it handle day to day activities with no problem. Then came the acid test I decide to go out and shall we say play. The jacket at this point began to show so sign of distressing stratches and rub marks, Overall I would say this jacket held it's own. I have always found the lambskin to be pretty durable. Believe me I've put mine to the test, whether driving a semi, working around it outside, or unloading the trailer. The lambskin has held up and barely shows any signs of distressing aside from around the cuffs and on the stormflap. I have also found it to be a warm jacket, contrary to what others have said.
everyone has their own unique opinion. some people can go outside in 20 degree weather in a sweater alone and are warm. others need a fleece, gloves, and a north face jacket and are still kind of cold!!! everybody is different and has their own view on what truly constitutes cold or wear and tear.

Very good point. That is how I feel. As well, my English lamb (the older darker one) has held up fine, and with a thicker shirt on underneath, can do quite well until about 30 for me. I DO NOT, however, wear it in any kind of precipitation, which occurs frequently lately. That's what my old Cooper Cotton Indy is for (the Pepsi promo one).
