Well... The time has came I guess. I have loved my Akubra Federation Delux for years but I had bashed it wrong and no matter what I do it simply does not work out and hold shape like I want it to now... So I am looking for suggestions over the next month or so to decide what I am going to do about a new one. I love how this one feels and fits, but I am kind of thinking of getting one that is already bashed and set up. It has to be sturdy (my current one has been on adventures throughout the US and Middle East. I love the hat and one day may send it to see if someone can do some work on it (if that is possible).
So... With the caveat that I love my current hat... What are your thoughts? I figure on spending 200 or less.

David Garrison will shape the hat how you want it, but you'll have to keep working that in until it gets it's 'memory'. The other one that comes to mind would be Todd's, in that range.

Hello Paladin3,
I am very grateful for the immediate endorsements from these fellow members.
. After finding this site back in 2005, I ordered an Akubra Federation III. I wore that hat a good while until I bought an Adventurebilt from Steve. Akubra makes a decent hat and I have reblocked a few of them. If you would like, send me your hat. I'll take a look at it and see what I could do for it. If I can't, I'll send the hat back and won't charge you a dime. PM me for details.
There are lots of choices and you have come to the right place to consider them.
