I want to add a couple of snaps to a jacket that I have a hair-brained idea about. Does anyone know where I can pick up just 2 snaps?
Thanx!!!

Re: Distressed Snaps
Yes, I actually do, but my situation might be far different then yours. In my city, we have a leather repair shop that seems to have just about anything unusual one would expect to find. I went in there a few years ago with a new black goat Wested ROTLA and asked if he had any 'antiqued snaps' to put on it -- and, he did, and he put them on for ten dollars. So, depending on where you are, you might be able to accomplish this feat. Or, you could go to a fabric store and buy a set of snaps (more then you will need) and let it go at that. Just my two cents. W>Bruce Wayne wrote:I want to add a couple of snaps to a jacket that I have a hair-brained idea about. Does anyone know where I can pick up just 2 snaps?

Tandy Leather. You can't buy just 2 snaps, but a small bag full won't cost much.

Re: Distressed Snaps
If you are going to put them on yourself, get a whole bag of them from Tandy, like interbak said.
Unless you have a press style snap setter, they can be little buggers to install and they may go sideways on you (you have to make sure everything is straight an hit the setter just right with the hammer).
Plus, they are awfully handy to have around.....
