So Todd's Costumes is currently out of inventory of their boots and won't have them restocked for a few(ish?) months.
Alden 405s are just out of my budget right now, so what to do?
I ran across these and though these look pretty good but wanted to know if anyone else has had any experience with the company Doursoux and even possibly seen/ordered/reviewed this particular boot:
“THREE QUARTER HIGHT GI SHOES” OFFICER ANKLES BOOTS
They don't look too bad, comparable in price to Todd's but I don't want to get these if the craftsmanship is shoddy and falls apart from normal wear.
Anyone have any opinions on these?

Re: Another Indy Boots alternative?
They look okay - but I wouldn't rely on them surviving much. The type of leather they use looks very weak and thin.
If I were you, I would wait until Todd's Re-stock their boots. I had to wait 4 months to get mine and they are totally worth it. They look almost identical to Alden's and the build quality is great.
Thats just my view though.
