Pistol presentation boxes? Any sources?

Post by Rook »

I've been looking for cheap pistol presentation boxes for quite a while now.

Some people use old wood cigar boxes, which would be sweet... except they don't make
14" wide cigar boxes. :)

Anyone have any sources for pine boxes appx. 14" x 6" x 3"?

This is what I want to do...

Thanks,

Gunbroker.com, gunsamerica.com, gunsinternational.com, Ebay, that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure you'll find some stuff there... I prefer gunbroker.com the best. Good luck

Already gone that route. Gunbroker (a personal favorite as well) doesn't have squat. :)

Great idea.. I love boxes like these and I keep an eye on a few eBay galleries for appropriate donors..

You might ultimately end up building your own which considering your skills would be very rewarding I feel. This is a box I made for another fairly well known movie firearm which was great to do since I don't consider myself a carpenter.

Interestingly, Adam savage asked if I would make for one for him as well so I suspect you would have folk falling over themselves so buy these from you if you did a run..

Best

You may have some luck with printer boxes. You could remove what divider sections necessary to fit in the gun, etc.

Try here http://www.ebay.com/itm/Presentation-Gu ... _598wt_680" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; see if this works for you. When I'm looking around on the internet I usually come across presentation cases all the time and especially on gunbroker but had a bit of a hard time finding one. Hope this helps
