Indulge me

Post by whiskyman »

Ok, it's a vanity thing I guess..but I would really like to see some pics of the whips I've sold to people over the years. How have they held up? Have they had a lot of use? Served you well? What do they look like now, all broken in? I only ever saw them new!

I'm expecting one from a trade within the next week. I'll get you some pictures of it when it gets in.

Thanks! That'll be great. I remember that whip - it's about 4 years old now I guess.

i am hopeless at uploading pics. But rest assured the whips are still beautiful. They are just for display, so they look as good now as the day you sent them

I'll try to remember to get a better picture at another time. Here's a 10ft. pagey whip, about 4 years old. When I got it, it had a very short redhide fall on it ( trimmed down over time when replacing the cracker ). I untied the fall hitch and retied it ( the whitehide was quite thicker than the redhide so I couldn't fit the whitehide into the fall hitch ) and put a new whitehide fall on it.

I've cracked it for a few minutes and like it a lot!

Myself and my brother ( 9 years old ) were cracking the "new" whip a bit and I decided to take some video when he first got to try it. He's acting out his version of the Cairo scene in Raiders.
