i was reading through some posts and people here say that the zipper was nickel in the movie yet per an email from wested they told me it was brass. can someone explain? thanks!!!

so in the movie it looked like brass, but was nickel? i ordered brass zipper and D rings. is my zipper gonna be all brass or nickel painted brass? what do most people here order?

If you ordered brass, they will be brass. The ordering seems evenly split, as you have to determine if you want what was intended, or what was actually seen on screen. The jacket was originally sent with nickel hardware (aluminum zip), but all painted brass. The brass paint wore off, and the nickel hardware showed on screen, so your choice is an 'either/or' type choice. Personally, I go with what I saw, and that was nickel, even though I KNOW it was intended and delivered as brass painted. Does this make any sense? It's all to what YOU remember, and want YOURS to reflect, as technically they're both correct. Regards. Michaelson

i will be happy either way...plus, its already ordered and likely almost made. i just get interested in this kind of stuff and like to learn as much as i can. i am sure i will buy another wested...either another indy jacket or the minority report jacket.
