I just moved to LA and I was setting up my Indy display and caring for my whip by treating it and when I got to the end part, I think the fall? The long tail part but not the string it just broke off. I took the braids out and got it off and had a spare to put back on but I just could not duplicate what Dave Morgan had done. Does anyone know anywhere I can take it? I am in Topanga. Thank you.

Anyone know anyone in LA who can repair my whip?

I don't live in LA, but if you can't find anyone local to you, you could always ship it to Paul Nolan or Joe Strain and they will surely re-tie the fall hitch for you for a simple fee.

Re: Anyone know anyone in LA who can repair my whip?
Hi Paul,
As far as I know there aren't any whip makers in the LA area. There aren't very many of us out there.
I would be happy to repair the whip for you. Assuming I understand your description correctly, it should be a pretty easy/common repair.
Send me an email to whipmaker@midwestwhips.com and we can go over the details.
Btw, for future reference, here is a video showing the easy way to change a fall on a whip without having to undo the fall hitches:

If it's a David Morgan whip, why not send it to them for repair?
Re: Anyone know anyone in LA who can repair my whip?
Thank you everyone for the input. I may end up shipping it to someone but I would rather have it fixed locally if possible so let me see and I will get back. Thanks.

So no one local in LA. That is amazing. I thought you could find everything out here. Thank you.
