Don't know who originally did it, but you can get its doppelgänger from magnoli clothiers I believe

Do a search for Minnesota Jones and Temple jacket. He had someone in LA custom make one.
They also did a Marion dress for his wife.

I'd be willing to bet it was Bermans&Nathans or Western Costumes

It says the TMW has only been around since 2001 and Temple was made in '84, so then who was the original maker? :-k

Um, just because the website started up in 2001 doesn't mean the wardrobe makers didn't exist before then. ;)

I'd like to offer up an apology to Knibs7. (Which is not something I often do...)

In re-reading this post from start to finish, I believe Kyle was trying ot answer the original question of who made the original tux for the actual movie.

I mis-read this and thought he was addressing the custom tux MJ had made. And in doing such, I took the liberty to take a cheap shot. Thats not my usual MO and for that I apologize.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming...

I'll add my mea culpa to knibs7.

In my confusion, I thought Minnesota Jones had found the orginal maker and went to them to get his jacket made.

No worries, Jeff. All is forgiven. I can see where you and Dalexs were coming from.

Funny thing, I didn't even read this post when it started and I checked out Magnoli Clothiers the other day for some other items and was curious about the Temple tux and it looks spot on, correct me if I'm wrong. I might be popping the question in the next year and I'd like to do a 30's theme for dress and music, I live in Palm Beach,FL and there's still some places on Palm Beach that was around in the 20's and 30's, kinda the Gatsby look.

Hey guys... I happen to have one of these dinner jackets in overstock at the moment. It'd fit somewhere in the 40R-42R range, sleeves for someone about 6 feet tall. Let me know if you're interested as it'd be cheaper than ordering one from us made-to-measure.

Kind regards,
Magnoli
