Other than Wade Egan. I ordered one of his at the beginning of December and was promised a two week turn around. A month later and no holder or reply from him as to when to expect it. I filed a complaint with Pay Pal and he has until the tenth to respond. I suspect I will get a refund and will be shopping for anther whip holder. There is a chap in the U.K. That is selling them at a decent price but I thought I would ask here. I have a 10 foot whip, by the way.

They are good quality, hand made items and the whip holders fit 10ft whips.

He also does belts, holsters whip fitting and all the rest, for not too bad a price- I would recommend him. And theres a £5 discount if you go to him directly, and not through ebay.

He also does these neat "whip hanger" things for display.

westy, stick to holders that do a double wrap around. The "regular" ones always slip, and you spend a lot of time readjusting.

Ive had the fortune of owning both in m lifetime and can tell you that make it Jones' are better! And he does double wrap arounds!

Finally got round to registering on COW and this is my first ever post on any internet forum.

Really glad to read that other fans appreciate what I make. Started making for my own collection and things have grown from there - this will be my 7th year making Indy gear for sale and there must be hundreds of my whip holders and bag straps (along with assorted belts, holsters, sandbags etc) out there now.

They look good, work well, and only cost $15.

I ordered one from makeitjones. Thought I would support a new member of the board and his prices are great, even with the exchange rate.

I am glad this thread has been started.
It gives me a good opportunity to let everyone know that my "Double Wrap Whip Straps" are also available with chrome snaps and rivets.
I just haven't had a chance to take pictures and add them to my site.
I can also do a black whip strap upon request.

I've been kicking round some ideas for variations on the double wrap whip holder for a while and just got round to making the prototypes yesterday.

Straightforward enough idea - 'double wrap with double snap' - wraps round the whip twice and fastens with two press studs. Really firm hold and very secure. Have added assorted new pictures on the Bullwhip holders page at http://www.makeitjones.co.uk/ but here's a sneak peak of the Raiders variant in a supple mid brown top grain leather

I've got two of joe strains whip holders. Work like a dream:)

I ordered one from Joe Strain prior to the summit in November and love it...double wrap around is the way to go.
