My "Work Uniform"

Managed to capture a shot of myself hustling down Pennsylvania Avenue in DC, returning home from the job. Essentially, this is what I wear to work every day as a legal support specialist/court reporter. You don't really get the full effect of how it all comes together with the power tie and so forth 
, but this is the standard look for me as I carry my gear (mixer, mics, recorders et al). I certainly have plenty of other jackets and sport-coats to choose from, but every time I reach for something else, I always gravitate back toward the hero. I've worn it in court hearings, depositions (not so frequently, since the close quarters of a conference room may make the aroma of English Leather a bit too distracting 
) nobody's batted an eye. As a matter of fact, I get compliments if anything

So in essence, it has become my standard court reporter's uniform!

I actually just balanced the camera on its side on the cobblestone median, making sure it was at ever so slightly an angle, timer on ten seconds. I was prepared to rattle off a couple few shots, but I checked out the results of this one and was like, "Huh...nailed it! 
Which was a good thing, because I really didn't feel compelled to hang out in the middle of the street operating questionable looking pieces of gear, right in front of the FBI building
