Indy fedora from Buckaroo Hatters?

I've only heard good things about Mr. Moore and Buckaroo Hatters. I am looking at getting a dark gray fedora, likely similar to the Pan Am Clipper, to match my dark gray suit. Have any folks had an Indy style fedora made by Mr. Moore? I'd love to see examples. I'm also wondering at the colors of gray in the rabbit vs. the beaver. They're not the same I guess. Since I live in Southern California, a lighter felt would likely be preferable.
How would either the rabbit or beaver from BH compare to the Fed IV or Fed IV Deluxe in weight, color and felt? An American custom hat would of course be my preference.

Here's what I found in a quick search of the site.

The Major uses felt from Winchester, like most custom hatters.

Michaelson, thanks. Yes, I read this on the 1912 fedora.
I was just wondering if anyone had gotten a RotLA, ToD, LC, Clipper, etc.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the good Major Moore is necessarily keyed in to the differences in the hats.

I'm a fan of Major Moore - He makes great hats and I've seen some of the really generous things he has done that go above and beyond.
One day, I'll get a hat from him (or Hay-at as he says it
) but it won't be an Indy hat. I'd stick with Delk, Penman or Garrison for that.
