Back in August Jay came out for a 5 day whipmaking course of making a 6 foot 12 plait Kangaroo hide Indy style bullwhip. He did SO incredibly well that it was difficult to believe that he had only ever made a handful of 4 plait cow hide whips years ago, and had never touched kangaroo before!

A few photos from that week:

A shot of Jay and I plaiting our 6 foot whips together, and getting ready for the first strand drop -

We look forward to seeing where Jay takes his new whipmaking skills, and we are excited to have such a passionate addition to the whip community and a new friend! :D

Dalexs, we'll sign up together! :whip:

(Of course, I guess that defeats the idea of one-on-one instruction. :- )

Indiana Jeff

It's not as bad as in the Midwest, but January and February are the chilliest and rainiest months out here.
