I remember they changed the "handcrafted by David Morgan" to "handcrafted at David Morgan" around 2008. Perhaps some weeks before the premiere of KOTCS.


Perhaps Bernardo could give us more accurate information about this.

Cool - I have a DM 10 footer which was made late in 2003. I believe DM made it himself as I talked to him personally to pick it out as he had a few available then, but I cant remember if I asked him if he made it himself - at the time I dont think it was even a consideration he wasn't doing them? Would like to be sure.

If memory serves me, he stopped making them sometime in 2007. In my last visit to Mr. Morgan's shop in 2008, Will Morgan kindly showed me the last whip David made. (Will kept it for himself). Perhaps Will remembers the exact date it was made.

I'll see if the tag on the whip says something and report back if so, the general time frame sounds right.

I'm sure there is no sure for a good bit of time there as we transitioned... enjoy the mystery!
